Get your fill of Kate Middleton in the coming days as there may not be anymore public sightings of the Duchess of Cambridge for a while after June 13.

Kate Middleton, 31, will be allowed to take a maternity leave as she gets closer to the July due date of her first pregnancy, an anonymous source told The Mirror. "Kate has really enjoyed her job and wanted to work as close to the birth date as possible" despite the fact that she has been prone to pregnancy-related illness. Early in the pregnancy, she was hospitalized for severe morning sickness but resumed working after a few weeks.

June 13 will mark the last official solo engagement before the mother-to-be begins her palace-approved break from work. On this date, the Duchess will christen a cruise ship. According to the same source, she may already be looking forward to coming back to work. "She takes her royal role very seriously and is looking forward to taking up her duties when her maternity leave has finished," the source said to The Mirror.

The Huffington Post noted that if the wife of Prince William, 30, takes a lengthy maternity leave, there might not be royal baby sightings until 2014 unless the couple take their baby on a trip abroad.

The couple has not publicly commented on the gender of the baby but the Mirror reported earlier this month that Prince Harry, 28, had been telling his friends that it is a boy. The due date is rumored to be July 13.
