It looks like NBA player Blake Griffin enjoys schmoozing with celebrities. The Los Angeles Clippers star is reportedly getting close to supermodel Kate Upton. The two were reportedly seen together at a New York club on Wednesday.
The New York Post reported on Thursday that the two were seen at the Beauty & Essex hot spot in the Lower East Side. A source for the paper gave a detailed description of what the two were wearing, claiming that Griffin, 24, was wearing salmon-colored pants and a navy blue and white button-down shirt. Upton, 20, wore jeans and a ‘nice’ shirt and showed up an hour after he did.
“The entire party looked like they were all having a great time in each other’s company – specifically Upton and Griffin who were very cozy with each other,” the source said.
A source for E! News said they looked to be having “a great time” and the two “were cuddling and holding hands, although they were not seen making out. They seemed pretty cute together.”
They apparently weren’t done after Beauty & Essex, though, spending the rest of the night at the Avenue nightclub.
Upton has been known for getting close with athletes before, reportedly dating Justin Verlander and Mark Sanchez. Lately, when she’s not modeling or making movies, Upton has had to deny rumors about dating other celebrities. Reports claim that she is “just friends” with Maksim Chmerkovsky and she really isn’t hooking up with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
