Kate Winslet and husband are pregnant

Kate Winslet and her husband Ned Rocknroll have been confirmed as pregnant with their first child.

This will be Winslet’s third child. Mia, 12, was born to Winslet and her first husband, Jim Threapleton, and Joe, 9, to Winslet and her second husband, Sam Mendes.

“Kate and Ned are delighted” to be expecting their first child together, their rep announced, according to the Huffington Post.

Winslet, 37, met Rocknroll, 34, in August 2011, and the lovebirds had a private wedding ceremony in December 2012.

Winslet has always been family oriented. She told InStyle in in 2006, “I’m hoping to have more kids. I don’t know whether one or two. Oh, God, I would love to have more.”

She considers herself a mother first, reports NY Daily News. “My children are my life and acting is just something that I do sometimes,” Winslet said.

Winslet met Rocknroll, a nephew of Richard Branson, at Branson’s compound on Necker Island in 2011.
