The second episode of this season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians aired June 9th. This episode consisted of Bruce's son, Brody Jenner, opening up about the issues between him and Bruce, Rob's weight gain, and Robert Kardashian Sr's ex-wife spreads rumors about Kris.
Rob has gained a lot of weight since the first season of KUWTK. He is depressed and wants change his lifestyle because he plans on entering the fashion industry. He calls on Kim for some weight loss help. Kim sets up a workout with a personal trainer for Rob but Rob ditches her because the appointment was too early. Khloe suggests to let Rob overindulge on fast-food until he is sick of it. Kim buys hamburgers, fries, pizza, and Chinese food for her and Rob to pig out. The next morning, to Kim's surprise, Rob is still eating the fast-food leftovers for breakfast. Rob promises to start working out, but it is unclear how serious he is about this promise.
Brody Jenner resents Bruce because of his lack of presence in his childhood due to Bruce's marriage to Kris. Brody believes that Bruce is a good father to his other children but Brody does not feel the love from Bruce. Bruce senses the distance between him and Brody. Bruce's other son and Rob urges Bruce to reconnect with Brody. Bruce and Brody both reveal to each other the views on their relationship. Bruce confesses that it is his fault that they are not as close as they should be. They both reconcile and agree to continue to build their relationship.
Robert Kardashian Sr's ex-wife vindictively releases rumors about Kris to the public. One of the rumors is that Kris beats her children. The rumors run rapid on the blog sites, which saddens and stresses out Kris. Kim and Khloe go to Jake, a private investigater, to get information on Robert Sr's ex-wife to figure out why she is spreading these rumors. They also hire an attorney to possibly press charges. The attorney says that the ex-wife is running from service, making it difficult to get the information needed to press charges. However, they eventually find her. In the end, Kris is appreciative that her daughters are willing to stand up for her.
