Nearly a week after Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcomed their baby daughter, the name has finally been revealed. This is one baby going in two directions, North and West.

We reported last night that TMZ had broken the news that the “KimYe Baby” has been named North West, according to the birth certificate from Cedars-Sinai hospital. The couple welcomed the baby on Saturday, but decided to keep the name quiet for a few days.

After TMZ broke the news, E! News, which airs Kardashian’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians, confirmed the name. A source added that they didn’t give her a middle name (shooting down rumors that they would give her the name Donda after West’s late mother), but they’ve come up with a nickname already - Nori.

“They will call her Nori for short,” Us Weekly’s source said.

It will be interesting to see what role the birth will play in future episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, since the birth reportedly came five weeks early. It was reported by Perez Hilton that the birth was filmed just for family. Ryan Seacrest said that since the delivery came early, the only cameras on hand were for the family, so don’t expect to see it make the show.

The birth also came the same week as West's new album, Yeezus, hit store shelves.
