Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are keeping tight lipped following the birth of the baby daughter, but small details surrounding her birth are beginning to trickle out.
A source close to the couple reveals to People that the Keeping up with the Kardashians starlet was admitted to the hospital five weeks early following minor medical complications where the reality star gave birth naturally.
"She was admitted with medical complications and her doctor made the decision that her baby needed to be delivered. Kim had a natural birth," the source explains. "If Kim would have had very serious complications, her doctor would have decided to do an emergency c-section instead."
Younger sister Khloe has since gushed about her new niece and assured fans that “mama and baby” are doing well. The fellow reality starlet also assured fans that more details would be available “when the time is right.”
The source tells People that despite reports that the couple have decided on a name for their bundle of joy, the couple still have not decided.
“Kim is being very protective of the baby and she says there is no official name.”
