Kim Kardashian has given birth to her first child with rapper Kanye West.
TMZ reported earlier today that Kardashian had entered Cedars-Sinai Medical Center this morning, and although the birth comes five weeks earlier than expected, mother and child are healthy.
Sources close to the reality television family say that West was present for the birth. The rapper cancelled an appearance at the last minute when Kardashian told him she was feeling, “a little off.”
The Daily Mail was the first to report that Kardashian had arrived at the hospital with boyfriend West and momager Kris Jenner in tow. While Kardashian had previously stated she would be keeping television cameras out of the delivery room, there is no word on whether or not the birth was filmed.
There has also been little word from Kardashian herself, who last posted on her Twitter and Instagram accounts nearly 24 hours ago.
West recently spoke to The New York Times , saying he planned on being a “protective” parent to his new daughter.
This is the first child for Kardashian and West.
