It was a busy week for reality star Kris Jenner. Her daughter Kim Kardashian gave birth to a baby girl, and just one day later, she attended a Jackson wedding, and presented an award at the Daytime Emmy Awards on June 16.
The 57-year-old grandmother looked gorgeous in an off-the-shoulder black gown with matching black pumps at both events.
According to Us Weekly, Kris Jenner was at 40th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards in Beverly Hills, and Taj and Tayana Jackson's celebrity-filled wedding at the Jackson family's Hayvenhurst home in Encino, California following the birth of her granddaughter. Taj is the oldest among Tito Jackson’s three sons with late ex-wife Delores Martes.
Kris gushed to Katherine Jackson, the late King of Pop’s mother, about Kim’s baby who arrived five weeks early on June 15. Though Kris missed the actual wedding ceremony, she made it to the “moment of silence," which honored family members who are no longer living, such as Michael Jackson and Taj’s mom.
Several of the Jackson clan were in attendance, except for Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris, who is recovering from a suicide attempt.
Though it was all business for the Kardashian matriarch this week, she was clearly beaming with excitement for her new granddaughter. She tweeted Kanye West on Father’s Day saying, “HAPPY FATHER’S DAY @kanyewest !!!!!!!”
After presenting an award at the Emmys, Kris told Showbiz Tonight that her granddaughter is “doing great and beautiful.” An insider also stated that, "Everyone is happy and healthy and the baby is so cute."
