Kris Jenner made an appearance on The View this morning, dishing about her new granddaughter and she and husband Bruce Jenner’s decision to live apart.
"There's been a lot of controversy," said Barbara Walters immediately into the interview with Jenner, referring to the uproar over Kim Kardashian and boyfriend Kanye West’s choice of the name North for their baby girl. "I mean, it's funny, but do you really want your child named North West, and would you have preferred it have been with a K?"
“Or Pan-Am?” co-host of the talk show Joy Behar interjected, according to E! News .
"I love the name North. I'm pro-North!" the Kardashian-Jenner matriarch said strongly before reiterating the meaning behind the baby’s name. "The way [Kim] explained it to me, north means highest power, and North is their highest point together."
Jenner then spoke about she and her former Olympian husband’s relationship, after being asked about the acquisition of a beach house/”man cave” to which Bruce often retreats.
"We got a place to get away together," Jenner explained. "He's just being selfish and using it more than anyone else,” she joked.
Jenner stopped by The Today Show earlier that morning, The New York Daily News reports, evading Matt Lauer’s requests to see a photo of baby North.
“I’d have to kill you if I showed you my cell phone,” Jenner laughed. “I’m erasing them all right after this.”
