Lady Gaga made her first public appearance since undergoing surgery earlier this year. Mother Monster made an appearance at the New York City LGBT Pride rally on Friday.
Sources connected to the event shared an e-mail with Towleraod which revealed the “Born This Way” singers plans to speak at the event.
Gaga stunned when she stepped on stage wearing a sleek black bodysuit saying to the crowd, Access Hollywood reports. Gaga said to the crowd, “I would like to thank everyone from the Supreme Court to every legislator and political leader that has ever stood with us. I am so fortunate to have been welcomed by all of you into the LGBT community and to this family… Our evolution as LGBT citizens always continues to change and we see that the further we are able to reveal and share our lives, the further we move into the hearts and minds of other Americans.”
After delivering her moving speech, Gaga celebrated the event waving a pride flag and sang the national anthem.
