Lindsay Lohan is reportedly leaving the Betty Ford Clinic to finish her 90-day court-mandated rehab sentence in another rehab facility in Malibu.
TMZ is reporting this morning that the prosecutors, the judge, and Lohan’s attorneys all approved the move, according to the site’s sources. Lohan has already completed a 30-day program at Betty Ford, and it was decided that moving her to the Cliffside facility in Malibu to finish the rest of the sentence was a good idea.
The staff at Cliffside agreed that the facility would be the best place for the Liz & Dick actress and they also signed off on the move. She left Betty Ford Wednesday and is already settled at Cliffside.
Lohan’s stay at Betty Ford, which started on May 1st, was not uneventful. It was reported just days after she checked in that she wanted to leave if the doctors wouldn’t let her use Adderall. A source for TMZ said that it is also “doubtful” that she’ll be able to use Adderall at Cliffside as well.
Her father, Michael Lohan, had at first believed that Betty Ford wasn’t the right place for his daughter, but, after he saw her, he said that she was making great progress.
Lohan was sentenced to rehab after she had been charged with misdemeanors for a car crash last summer.
