In June of 2012, actor Liam Hemsworth popped the question to his long-term girlfriend Miley Cyrus. Since then it has been a rocky road for the two, putting off the wedding twice and recently the media has been eating up rumors about a permanent split between the two. Despite these rumors, Miley Cyrus was seen showing off her engagement ring that Liam gave to her a year ago yesterday.
According to Yahoo! Miley was seen sporting her flashy ring on a music video shoot, confusing the media even more so about her and her would-be-husband’s supposed split. The two had already had a rocky relationship, but ever since Miley traded her sweet and innocent look for a more punk-rock demeanor it seems as though her relationship with Hemsworth has taken a turn for the worse. Since their engagement last year the two have put off their marriage twice and this past year Hemsworth put space between the two by going to spend some time with his family back in Australia. An insider told US Magazine that the two were “definitely over,” but Miley’s outing with the ring is making the media question what’s really going on between the two. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens between the two young stars.
