Four Miss USA winners have decided to go nude for a new PETA ad campaign protesting the use of real animal fur in the fashion industry.

The PETA campaign features winners Susie Castillo, Shandi Finnessey, Shanna Moakler, and Alyssa Campanella in the nude, with their hands strategically placed. Photographer Fadil Berisha was recruited to take the black and white image. “Feel Beautiful in Your Own Skin, and Let Animals Keep Theirs,” the poster reads.

“I was so disgusted that I would wear this skin of this living being on my body and consider myself beautiful,” Finnessey, who won Miss USA in 2004, said in a statement. “What would happen if that happened to a human being? We would be outraged. So what's the difference?"

“The more I learned of the torture that animals go through in the name of fashion, I just think its so unnecessary,” Castillo said. “It's unbelievable actually.”

PETA also posted a video with behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the models, who explain why they are against wearing real fur.

While PETA is best known for going after celebrities whenever they do something it disagrees with, the organization has drawn plenty of support from celebrities in the past. According to The Huffington Post, Oliva Munn, Evelyn Lozada and Wendy Williams took part in different nude PETA ads in 2012.
