Reality star NeNe Leakes remarried her ex-husband Gregg Leakes this weekend in a lavish Southern wedding.
The couple wed at the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta in front of 400 guests, E! News reports. The star of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta walked down the aisle with cameras in tow, filming a special called I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding.
"I'm so happy to see my parents remarried,” the couple’s son Brentt said, “As a family we've never been happier."
Leakes and her husband married in 1997 and split in 2010. They were engaged in December.
USA Today reports that the bride hinted that the ceremony would take place this weekend, sending out a punny tweet that read, “Got big plans this weekend? Cause I do :).”
The reality star broke the news of her engagement on Twitter New Year’s Eve in two separate tweets. The first teased followers, “my answer was,” and the second gave her answer, “yes.”
Hopefully for NeNe and Gregg, the second time is a charm!
