Netflix is going to continue its international expansion by moving into the Netherlands by the end of 2013.

According to Broadcasting & Cable, the company told investors two months ago that it planned on adding another European market to its stable in the second half of 2013. On Wednesday, it revealed that the Netherlands is that market. While a specific date for its Dutch debut wasn’t set, Netflix has already set up the netflix.nl website.

Netflix’s last major international push came last summer when it moved into Scandanavia.

Reuters notes that while Netflix has been a huge success in the U.S. and Canada, its international efforts have yet to turn a profit. In addition to Scandinavia, the U.S. and Canada, the streaming service is also available in the U.K. and Northern Ireland and Latin America.

Earlier this week, Netflix and Dreamworks Animation reached a deal for exclusive TV shows that will feature Shrek, The Croods and other well-known DWA properties. The two companies had previously announced Turbo: F.A.S.T., based on the studio’s new film Turbo.
