Paris Jackson, who was recently hospitalized following a suicide attempt, was reportedly unable to attend her cousin's wedding yesterday despite previous information that she would be released from the hospital to make it to the ceremony.
The New York Post reports that the 15-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson had to miss cousin Taj Jackson's wedding because doctors felt she needed more evaluation before releasing her. She is currently being cared for at UCLA Medical Center.
Paris was originally told that she would be out of the hospital in time to join her family for the event.
"The plan is to not keep her past Friday," a source told E! early last week. "[Co-guardian] T.J.'s brother Taj is getting married and she desperately wants to be there and everyone wants her to be there."
However, Paris' recovery from her June 5 suicide attempt, in which she overdosed on Motrin and cut her arm, might keep her from attending other family affairs.
“ 'She’s been told she might have to miss out' on other family events," a source said to the Post.
At this time, no new information is known on Paris' location, but E! reports that she "has a couple weeks of very intense therapy [ahead of her] before anything else happens. Where she does it all depends on the best place."
