After the Food Network announced they would not be renewing Paula Deen’s contract in the wake of her racial slur controversy, the celebrity chef released a statement, thanking the network for their 11-year relationship.

Her contract expires at the end of the month, and she will not be continuing on with the network, where she became famous for her southern-style cooking.

"I have had the pleasure of being allowed into so many homes across the country and meeting people who have shared with me the most touching and personal stories," Deen told People. "This would not have been possible without the Food Network. Thank you again. Love and best dishes to all of ya'll."

Although Deen didn’t show up to her scheduled Today Show appearance on Friday, she did release two video apologizes.

"Inappropriate, hurtful language is totally, totally unacceptable. I've made plenty of mistakes along the way, but I beg you, my children, my team, my fans, my partners – I beg for your forgiveness. Please forgive me for the mistakes that I've made,” she said.
