Rihanna is firing back at Daily Mail reporter Liz Jones who criticized the singer for her “poisonous” behavior. Jones slammed Rihanna’s influence on her younger fans from her wardrobe choices to open use of the recreational drug marijuana.

In her article posted Monday, Jones criticizes Rihanna’s relationship with Chris Brown, who infamously beat her in 2009, the outfits she wears saying she inviting men to sexually assault her as well as images she posts online. Jones suggests that Rihanna have a government warning.

The “S&M” singer has responded to the article, posting an unflattering photo of Jones calling her “a sad sloppy menopausal mess” on Instagram along with the lengthy caption, “LOL!!!! My money got a bad habit of pissing people off!! If you sincerely wanna help little girls more than their own parents do, here's a toxic tip: don't be amateur with your articles, you sound bitter! What's all this about hair and nails and costumes and tattoos??” Rihanna continues, slamming Jone’s article and her credentials as a writer calling the article isn’t “clever,” noting, “That shit ain't journalism! That's a sad sloppy menopausal mess!”

The 25-year-old singer states that "Role Model" is not a position or title that I have ever campaigned for” saying that she has her own “shit to work on.”

“I'll never portray that as perfect, but for right now it's ME!! Call it what ya want!! Toxic was cute, Poisonous Pop Princess had a nice ring to it, just a lil wordy! And P.S. my first American Vogue cover was in 2011...APRIL!!! #ElizabethAnnJones,” she concludes.
