For fans who have idealized Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City, you know her shoes were everything to her. Now, the actress who played Carrie on series, Sarah Jessica Parker, is starting her own shoe line.

What’s even better news is Parker will be joined by George Malkemus, the CEO of Carrie’s all-time favorite shoes, Manolo Blahnik.

According to The Huffington Post, the line of shoes, handbags and trench coats will be appropriately called SJP. The line will be sold exclusively at Nordstrom and range from $200-300 for shoes and nearly $700 for handbags.

Parker told Vogue.com “In a silly way, I think it’s what people have expected of me most because of Carrie Bradshaw,” adding, “Because I got to play that role, I wore a lot of shoes and by default I learned an enormous amount. It’s hard to walk away from that.”

“It’s sort of soup to nuts,” she said of the line. “You put on a shoe and you put on a coat and you wear a bag and, on the outside, when you’re walking down the street, they really can tell the same story about yourself.”

The mother of three also gave insight into the line, explaining, “We’re putting new colors together that people don’t typically do, just beautiful combinations that you wish existed in your closet. And in terms of bags, thinking about that period of the seventies into the eighties, what those women were carrying, taking away the bells and the whistles and hardware and really making it about the bag.”
