On July 22 it will be official; Selena Gomez will be 21, legal and will have the option to buy liquor whenever she wants to!
According to Hollywood Life, along with being a guest host for "New Music Live" on Canada's MuchMusic, she answered a few questions regarding her birthday plans:
“Obviously in America 21 is the age,” Gomez said while laughing, “so I’m gonna actually have a really big party. I wanna have a great party — I’m gonna invite my friends and my family, and I’m definitely gonna celebrate.”
Some of her best friends and family are flying in for the affair.
"My family from Texas, my friends [and] my cousins are flying in. I will have some of my best friends in L.A."
Although 21 and single, she knows what it means to be young, according to People.
"I feel like sometimes I am 15 in my heart," she says. "You know, sometimes I just go in waves of being a child and being an adult. It's awkward, I am growing up. I am just trying to figure out who I am."
Everyone knows how difficult it is to grow up and find out who you are in general, but it is even harder when you have to do it in the public eye. Knowing this she says that she has no regrets so far in her 21 years of life.
"Everyone goes through things, the bad and the good, and at the end of the day, I don't regret anything," she says. "It makes me who I am."
Funny enough, Justin Bieber has off days from his "Believe" tour on July 21st and 22nd. Is it a coincidence? Who knows, but either way Selena Gomez is turning 21 and is very much excited.
