Simon Cowell was faced with an angry young girl during the Britain’s Got Talent finale. The sharp-tongued judge was surprised when an unidentified violinist took center stage and threw eggs at him.
Mirror.co reports that the unidentified woman is presumed to be a part of the orchestra which was playing in the background during finalists Richard and Adam Johnson’s opera performance.
In the middle of their performance, the woman stood with a carton of eggs, walked to the center of the stage and threw several eggs at Cowell, hitting him in the chest and splattering egg yolk all over his jacket. The woman continued to smile throughout the entire ordeal.
Security was called and the woman was detained.
““The only person with egg on their face was that stupid cow,” judge Amanda Holden said according to New York Daily News.
“We'd just like to point out that was not part of the performance. Well done for carrying on,” hosts Ant and Dec explained.
