Fox is going to test its own talk show with women covering topics of the day, titled The Real. It will feature Tamera Mowry and Tamar Braxton.

According to Deadline, the Tia & Tamara and Braxton Family Values stars will host the show with Jeannie Mai (How Do I Look?) and comedian Loni Love. All members of the panel are women of color and under 40, so the Telepictures-produced show will be going for a different, younger vibe than CBS’ The Talk or ABC’s The View.

The Real will premiere on local Fox-owned stations on July 8 for a summer test run, reports Broadcasting & Cable. Sources for that site say that this date is not set in stone. Fox also hasn’t decided what networks to run it in and how long each episode will be.

Telepictures will be hoping that they can replicate the success of Bethenny Frankel’s show Bethenny, which also had a summer run before it was syndicated nationwide in the fall.

Fox is also testing Kris, a talk show hosted by Kardashian family matriarch Kris Jenner, this summer. It premieres on July 15.
