Taylor Swift is the new target for the Westboro Baptist Church.
It’s commonly known that the Westboro Baptist Church has a long list of people who are “doomed to hell” and country singer/songwriter Taylor Swift has just been added to that list. The church announced that they play to picket her Kansas City concert on August 3rd. Their reasoning? They believe Taylor Swift is a “wh*re.”
The church criticizes Swift for “hopping from one young man to the next and strutting across the stage like a proud whore.”
They are also angry with Swift for not using her Twitter to help spread the word of God. According to Huffington Post the church has been reported saying that she uses her Twitter to “warble about fornication, instead of warning her fellow man of the coming destruction."
The group also attacked her father, claiming that he is the reasoning behind her growing up to be “the poster child for the young whores of doomed-america [sic]."
Despite the men she may go through, it has been rumored that Swift is relatively chaste, someone who doesn’t “fornicate” often.
