As The CW has in the past, the network has decided to have its own premiere week after the other networks so it doesn’t get lost in the shuffle. Its premiere week won’t start until October 7, with the premiere of Hart of Dixie, which stars Rachel Bilson.

Hart of Dixie has been paired with Beauty and the Beast, which will stay on Mondays. The series was one of the successes the network had during the 2012-2013 season.

Arrow was its biggest hit. The show stars Stephen Amell as Green Arrow, a hero from DC Comics. The show earned great ratings during its freshman run and will start on October 9. The CW is using it as a lead-in for The Tomorrow People, a new show starring Robbie Amell.

The Vampire Diaries kicks off on Oct. 10, while its spin-off The Originals won’t premiere until Oct. 15. The Originals is paired with Supernatural on Tuesdays. Vampire Diaries gets another new show, Reign, with Adelaide Kane.

The Carrie Diaries had been held back until Oct. 25 and will move to Fridays. Nikita, Star-Crossed and The 100 will air in mid-season.
