On this week's episode of the The Fosters Callie and her brother Jude settled into their temporary home. Jesus and Lexi's relationship was revealed. Jesus made a grand gesture on behalf of his sister Marianna. Brandon had relationship troubles with Talya. Stef and Lena had troubles of their own too.
Brandon's girlfriend Talya was jealous of Callie, and her blossoming relationship with Brandon. She invited Callie to sit with her and her cronies at lunch, during school. Once Callie sat down, Talya passive-agressively made it a point to remind Callie she and Brandon were a couple. Later Talya saw Brandon touching Callie's leg in the music room, and it enraged her. Brandon sensing Tayla was upset and having consulted Jesus decided to sneak out that night and have a romantic night with Talya. It never happened because Brandon forgot, he became involved in conversation with Callie that night.
Meanwhile, Lena found a girl in the bathroom snorting some pill. As a result the school lockers were searched by a security guard. No pills were found at that time. However, the girl Lean caught apparently said Callie gave her the drugs. Lena and Stef confronted Callie at home and didn't believe her when she said it wasn't her who had done it. Jesus confronted Marianna and told her to do the right thing and explain it wasn't Callie. Jesus escorted his sister before their parents and as Marianna was hesitant, Jesus took the blame. Stef and Lena were embarrassed and apologized to Callie.
Stef and Lena had trouble of their own when Mike (Brandon's biological father and Stef's police partner) decided to intervene himself into Stef and Lena's parenting of Brandon. Mike felt Brandon should have been punished for skipping his music scholarship audition and putting himself in danger. Mike came home with Stef from work and confronted Brandon and Lena, saying they believe Brandon should be grounded. Lena was outraged that Mike acted as an interloper and that Stef didn't consult with her about the matter. A lot of tension arose from this issue, and it might develop further in future episodes.
Afterwards Stef and Lena sat the children down to explain that Jude and Callie were staying until Bill found permanent arrangements for them. They explained that Jesus would share his room with Jude and Marianna would share hers with Callie. Neither Jesus nor Marianna liked the new arrangement.
