The Voice has come down to this, only three vocalists are left. Michelle Chamuel from Team Usher and The Swon Brothers and Danielle Bradbery from Team Blake. The top three only have one last chance to prove to America why they should be crowned The Voice.
Before the show got underway, all four coaches took the stage to perform a classic Beatles track, “Little Help From My Friends.”
Starting off the show from Team Blake was The Swon Brothers, the first ever duo to make it to the finals of The Voice. The Swon Brothers took on “I Can’t Tell You Why,” by the Eagles. Usher said that it was a classic record and that it was good to see The Swon Brothers really evolving. Shakira was even holding a “Go Okies” sign and was celebrating before giving her comments. Shakira said that singing in their higher registers really suited the brothers. Levine added that the brothers did an incredible job. Coach Shelton said that this was the best season of The Voice so far.
Michelle Chamuel from Team Usher took to the stage next to perform “I Knew You Were Trouble,” by Taylor Swift. Shakira started off the judges’ comments by saying that Chamuel’s energy is amazing and that America has truly seen an original artist. Levine said that it is very cool that you can feel the energy that Chamuel creates on the stage. Shelton added that you cannot fake the energy that Chamuel puts forwards during performances. Coach Usher added that this was a defining moment for Chamuel and that there is more to come. In the end Usher just pointed to the fans who filled the The Voice studio with applause.
Next up, Danielle Bradbery took to the stage to perform with her coach, Blake Shelton. Shelton and Bradbery sang “Timber I'm Falling in Love,” by Patty Loveless.
The Swon Brothers returned to perform their defining moment that was when the duo performed “Danny’s Song.” The duo performed that track again tonight. Usher commented on the performance saying that the brothers really customized the song and made it personal. Levine added that he got lost in the performance and that it was refreshing to hear a new song be given new life. Coach Shelton added that when he is back home in Oklahoma he wouldn’t doubt that The Swon Brothers would be playing on the radio and that every time the duo performs, their harmonies get better.
Michelle Chamuel took the stage again for her solo performance. Chamuel performed “Why,” by Annie Lennox. The performance brought coach Usher to his feet. Shakira started off the judges’ comments by wearing some now famous Chamuel glasses. Shakira said that she thinks people should know that Chamuel is sweet and humble and has talent in the other hand, creating a perfect combination. Shelton said that it was a more laid back performance and that this was the perfect time to show that side of Chamuel. Usher said that artists hope they can one today have both likability and capability and that is what Chamuel has.
The Swon Brothers took the stage with their coach Blake Shelton to perform “Celebrity,” originally sung by Brad Paisley.
Danielle Bradbery returned to perform “Maybe it was Memphis,” by Pam Tillis. Shakira started off the judges’ comments by saying that Bradbery really grabbed the bull by the horn and is amazing. Levine said that in the start of the competition he was jealous that Bradbery joined Team Blake and he is still jealous today. Coach Shelton added that hearing that song again was still just as impressive as before.
Chamuel, The Swon Brothers, and Danielle Bradbery took the stage to perform “Home.” The three finalists were joined by their fellow The Voice contestants.
