The Wanted Life came back for an extra indulgent episode as they visited – and performed! – for the First Family and guests at the White House.

The beginning of the episode started off with the boys talking about the opportunity of performing at such an honorable venue. They were excited as ever to get the opportunity to meet none other than the First Dog – alongside President Barrack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, of course.

Drama heightened when poor Nathan had to tell the rest of the band that he wouldn’t be able to perform at the White House because the doctor ordered him to continue to rest his voice. The other four seemed understanding, but it also caused them a bit of stress, as they had to rush to the studio and learn to take on Nathan’s parts in the music.

Later, Nano pulled Jay aside, which struck viewers with confusion. As his manager, Nano tells Jay that he needs to go through some additional vocal training. Hearing this came as a surprise to Jay, and he couldn’t help but take this information to heart before but agreeing to do so.

Meanwhile, Max suddenly decided he wanted to pursue an acting career. Apparently, this decision was not out of the blue as the heartthrob revealed that before he joined The Wanted he used to audition for acting gigs. So he goes to his agent and tells him he’s serious about doing it and before we know it he lands his first audition. But first, to prepare, he talks in an American accent amongst the band and asks Tom out on a date – in a pretty convincing way too…

Jay divulges the information about the vocal coach to Tom while in the kitchen, and Tom steps in and says that he will accompany Jay to his lesson as he could also use the practice.

Jay and Tom walk into the studio, and much to their surprise, they are ordered to do jumping jacks right away. They are then told to loosen up by doing throat and mouth exercises, to which both boys responded positively.

Next, the tour bus pulls up to none other than Washington D.C. and The Wanted pour out of the bus eager to embrace being in the nation’s capital. Of course, the band is from the U.K., however, they highly respect America and jumped at the incredible opportunity.

It’s an Easter event and there are 35,000 people flooding the White House Lawn. President Obama gives a brief speech and the Easter egg games begin where the children are not allowed to drop the egg as they scurry to the other side. The Wanted jokes, ‘in Britain you don’t drop the egg, otherwise you get adopted.’

After their performance, they were granted access to go into the house and meet a big Wanted fan: Michelle Obama. The boys and Nano gather in the White House library, and tell Nano not to steal anything. Nano reveals he was nervous about bringing the boys into the White House and expresses he was in fact, a bit concerned.

Michelle Obama walks in and hugs each member. Following behind her is none other than the White House dog who lays on the floor in the middle of the room. Max tries to get the dog to give his paw, to which he first received no response. But being as clever is he is, Max thought it was the British accent the dog wasn’t responding to, so he instead asks for a paw in a crisp American accent and next thing we know, Max gets the dog’s paw!

Upon their departure, Michelle tells the boys to stay out of trouble. Hopefully the boys didn’t make any promises to that one.

The episode ended with Max’s audition for a film in which he was asked to use an American accent. The director however thought he got his emotions across better when he was talking in his real accent. He walked out of the studio feeling like he did well, but then again, it’s Hollywood and he will not know until he gets a second call.
