Oscar-winner Tom Hanks’ latest movie is one he shot himself at the doctor’s office while undergoing a procedure to release built-up fluid from his elbow.

The actor, who recently was nominated for a Tony award, narrates the video, which is not for the squeamish. Hanks’ quirky sense of humor is on display throughout the procedure as he walks his WhoSay followers through the treatment.

"My elbow is being drained," Hanks explains, as his doctor prepares a syringe. “What does it look like?”

The actor, currently donning an impressive-looking moustache, continues to narrate, informing viewers that his doctor needs a second syringe.

"Another syringe," Hanks says. "Two syringes! How 'bout that? Double-barreled. Look at the fill-up. Look at that, baby! There you go...Yowzas."

As for some more serious screen time, USA Today reports that Hanks is set to star in a film adaptation of the A Hologram for the King , a Dave Eggers novel that was a finalist for the National Book Award last year. Tom Tykwer, director of the Hanks’ film Cloud Atlas , will rejoin the actor to direct the upcoming film.
