President Obama’s White House staff is still running the We The People petition site, which has provided hard evidence that Americans have an awesome sense of humor. While many are asking Obama for serious changes, the petitions that get the publicity are usually for silly things like Death Stars. A new one asked President Obama to re-enact a famous scene from Pixar’s The Incredibles, but it’s been taken down.

The petition asked Obama to re-enact the famous scene in the film where Samuel L. Jackson’s character Frozone asks his wife where his supersuit went. Cartoon Brew reports that the petition even got the support of the film’s director, Brad Bird, who retweeted a link to it. The petition garnered 5,000 signatures, but it was taken down.

Unlike the awesome response to the petition for a Death Star, Obama’s staff hasn’t made an official statement on the petition. So, we’re left to speculate. Did Obama just not like The Incredibles or does he just have way too much on his plate? The NSA’s surveillance program was just leaked after all.

In the meantime, we’ve got this video that popped up on YouTube:
