Chris Brown is being accused of physically assaulting a woman in an Orange County, Calif. nightclub this past Saturday night. The woman, 24, is alleging that Brown shoved her to the ground and caused severe injuries.
Deanna Gines told TMZ she was in the VIP area of the Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim, Calif. where Brown had just performed. She claims he deliberately pushed her to the ground and she might need surgery as a result.
Gines said she went to the hospital after the incident and she found out she had torn ligaments in her right knee. She also said she filed a police report with the Anaheim police, which they have confirmed but would not confirm the name.
Nicole Perna, the “Fine China” singer’s rep, told TMZ "I'm unaware of the incident, as is Chris' lawyer and his entire team. He was in a great mood after Powerhouse. None of this makes sense."
For Brown’s part, he tweeted a series of comments that are likely about the incident, starting with “#postiveenergy.”
He also tweeted but has since deleted, “The devil is always working. If it wasn't for my faith and my fans, I would've quit music along time ago.” And “I'm tired of it man....!”
Brown was famously arrested in 2009 for beating his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
