There’s only three episodes to go until True Blood season six wraps up, and there’s still so much to resolve!

For one, the vampires are stuck in vamp camp led by the malicious Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) who is feeding them contaminated Tru Blood which will kill all the vampires, yet even worse, those that refuse to drink will be forced to meet the sun. Then there’s the whole struggle between Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Warlow (Rob Kazinsky), Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Lillith (Jessica Clark), and Sam (Sam Trammell) and Alcide (Joe Manganiello).

It’s been an intense season, which as new showrunner Brian Buckner promised, took the show back to its original roots – the struggle between humans and vampires.

Here’s how episode nine, “Life Matters,” will play out. Bill is taking desperate measures to get Warlow’s help because he needs his blood to walk in the sun, while feeling the pull of Lilith’s sirens. Sookie will hate being in the middle between Bill and Warlow once and for all. We saw in the episode eight preview that Warlow offers her an ultimatum in which she must vow to be with him forever in order to help Bill and her vampire friends.

Meanwhile, Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) has lost it. The death of his beloved sister Nora (Lucy Griffiths) really pushed him over the edge after she shriveled grotesquely into his arms, dying from the virus injected in the Tru Blood’s. Eric will return to the LAVDF looking to cause serious harm to the humans that tortured him.

Back in Bon Temps, friends and family will gather to share emotional stories about a fallen neighbor. Terry perhaps? Sam? We won’t know until next episode the measures Alcide and the pack will take once they know Sam is alive and back in Bon Temps… and we’ll admit, we’re a little afraid!

Episode eight of True Blood titled “Dead Meat” will air next Sunday at 9pm EST on HBO.
