A press release was recently published giving insight into episode six’s storylines. The episode, titled “In The Evening,” will debut Sunday July 28 at 9pm on HBO.
Episode five left off with an abundance of cliffhangers. We saw Pam (Kristen Bauer van Straten ) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) ready to face off against each other in the Nazi-esque camp, stakes in hand. According to HBO, in the upcoming episode Eric will make his last effort to save an ailing Nora (Lucy Griffiths). Does this mean Eric will beat Pam in the big fight?
Meanwhile, Sam (Sam Trammel), who is running away with Emma in order to protect her from Alcide (Joe Manganiello) and the werewolves, will be forced to come home due to a tragedy. Any thoughts as to what this could be? One of the other cliffhangers of last week’s episode was Lafeyette turning into Sookie’s dad and trying to drown her in the river.
Back at the Governor’s vampire camp, Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) will befriend a fellow prisoner, James (Luke Grimes) and show her gratitude towards him. Sarah (Anna Camp) seeks revenge on Jason (Ryan Kwanten), who we recently saw signing up to be recruited for the camp in order to save Jessica.
And don’t forget! True Blood’s new showrunner Brian Bucker confirmed that one of the main cast members would be killed off this season. Ryan Kwanten calls the death “heartbreaking.” This character will be honored in the seventh episode, titled “The Funeral.”
