Amanda Bynes’ former Nickelodeon co-star Nick Cannon is praying for her. He appeared on the show All That with her occasionally and has been an outspoken supporter since she started exhibiting signs of instability.
The America’s Got Talent host was spotted at LAX, where he said there’s only one thing to do in this case – pray.
“She's in my prayers. I'm praying for her. That's all you can do,” he told TMZ.
Meanwhile, Bynes was held in the hospital on Monday for a 5150 psychiatric hold, which normally lasts 72 hours.
MTV News reports that her stay has been extended for two more weeks. A judge asked Bynes’ parents permission to keep her after her stay expired on Thursday night.
“If after the 72 hours they feel the patient is still a danger to themselves or other and they won't stay voluntarily, then you can put them on a 5250," said psychiatrist Dr. Jody M. Rawles, who doesn’t treat Bynes.
