Amanda Bynes was in a New York courtroom this morning for a hearing related to her arrest for allegedly tossing a bong out her window. She showed up wearing a blue wig, which was at least neater than the disheveled blonde wig she was arrested in.
TMZ reports that Bynes went really casual for the rest of her wardrobe, wearing a tanktop, sweatpants and sneakers. The site notes that Bynes didn’t say a word during the proceedings and nothing really happened. The judge did set the next court date in the case for Aug. 26.
Bynes was arrested in May after she had allegedly thrown her bong from her New York apartment window. Police entered her apartment and allegedly smelled marijuana. The former actress later said that she’d sue the NYPD for assaulting her and entering her apartment illegally.
However, the NYPD said that their investigators determined that she was not sexually assaulted by the arresting officer.
It’s interesting that Bynes did make the hearing as scheduled, since she complained about her new nose job on Twitter Monday. In one tweet, she wrote, “My Broken Nose Is Making The Bone Under My Eyes Protrude So I Won't Stop Getting Surgery Until That Bone Is Shaved Off.” She added, “My Surgeon Broke My Nose During My Surgery But Hasn't Finished My Nose! It's Still Broken And I Can't Breathe!”
Later, she wrote, “What I Put On Twitter Is Not Wrong.”
She also added President Obama and Michelle Obama to her “ugly” list.
