New details surrounding Amanda Bynes’ behavior in the days before her psychiatric hold have surfaced. Bynes is said to have destroyed a hotel room in New York City’s Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
Photos published by New York Daily News show ashes, make up, soda bottles and food everywhere throughout the high-priced hotel room. The former Nickelodeon actress is also said to have busted the smoke alarm.
TMZ reports that Bynes was kicked out of the hotel after smoking marijuana in the hotel room and running up at $9,000 bill. Additionally, the site notes that Bynes has a history of damaging smoke alarms and the liked as her parents explained, the 27-year-old feels these are devices used to watch her.
The Amanda Show actress was placed on a 72-hour 5150 psychiatric watch after setting fire to a woman’s driveway in Thousand Oaks, Ca. Although her lawyer petitioned to let his client leave, a judge stated that he wants Bynes to stay in the hospital for 2 weeks to allow further testing for a more accurate diagnosis.
Bynes is said to want to wait to speak to the judge after her medication begins taking affect in the hopes that she will be in a clearer state of mind.
