It’s Vegas week at the planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. The judges have a tough decision of cutting down over a hundred contestants to only 60. There are only 60 spots available for the live shows in Radio City Music Hall. The judges first go over the original audition tapes and discuss who should automatically go through to New York and who should perform once again. Those that have to perform again, have to prove to the judges why they deserve a spot at the live shows.

The first acts to perform are the danger acts. David Foreman is the first one up. He juggles over a million volt stun guns in a unicycle while surrounded by more stun guns. If he drops them he will be electrocuted. He successfully pulls of the stunt all while leaving us breathless. Next is Bard Byers. He first puts out a flame with his mouth. Then he places a hook through his nose and comes out of his mouth. Then he pulls a wagon with nick canon and another guy on it. This was ridiculous because you think that hook is just going to rip out of his face. He then pulls out the hook out successfully leaving us a cringing. Alexandr Magala follows this tough act. He places a sword inside his mouth then climbs a pole upside down and then releases himself. He almost hits the floor, making it seem that if he were to fall face first, the sword would rip through his stomach. This left me with sweaty palms. He brings the danger and is great at it. The following act is Sam Johnson. He lights his top hat on fire then pours gasoline on his head then stands on a tight rope while on a unicycle. He then juggles inflamed torches. His head almost catches on fire, he had to remove the hat and start patting his head. It looks as if the danger acts will do almost anything in order for that spot in Radio City Music Hall. The last of the danger acts is Rong Nui. She balances on a tall unicycle while trying to throw bowls from her foot and have them land on her head. She misses, and the bowls spill. She then tries again and nails it. She’s emotional afterwards and her mistake might have cost her the spot in New York.

The following group to re audition is the rock bands. First up is Forte. They are an opera trio. A minor setback was that they had to replace one of the members. So this was a completely new audition. They were performing together for the first time. They did really well but I was a little bored. I did not feel they had much chemistry. Following them was Brandon and Savannah. First time around they performed an original song, this time they did a cover. It went well, these kids are talented. Lastly was American Hitmen, they are an older rock band. Howard loved them from day one, so he was excited to see them again. All of the groups did a great job; it is just a matter of who stood out more.

The next group to prove their talent is worth a million dollars is the kid acts. First onstage is 2unique, the kid dj and singer. They’re really good and unique but the questions lingers whether they are good enough for Radio City Music Hall. Then Lil Demon performs. He is a kid break dancer and again, the question arises is this worth as million dollars. Melody Caballero is next and she is an acrobat. She is very talented and strong. She had a tiny bit of trouble balancing on her hand but pulled it off. The last two to perform were Ruby and Jonas alongside her brother D’Angelo and Amanda. Ruby and Jonas are about 7, while her brother and his partner are 13 or so. Ruby is confident she is better than her brother because they are better and cuter. D’Angelo and Amanda do a fantastic job, his personality jumps off stage. Next is Ruby and Jonas and they do a tango. All of a sudden Jonas slips on ruby’s dress but they picked themselves right up and kept dancing. The judges asked them what happened, Jonas explains and Ruby starts crying. Mel B gets up and gives her a hug saying it’s ok. D’Angelo meets her little sister and comforts her.

The comedy category was the next set to perform. This part of the competition is always tough for comedians because they are not performing in front of an audience but rather four people. The pressure is on, and things can easily go good or bad. First was Jimmy Faille. His act got awkward quickly because the judges did not laugh. This made him nervous and he ended up speeding through his jokes which made things worse. Next up was Eric Shwartz. His audition went better, he wasn’t just telling jokes he made funny faces too. Then it was Taylor Williamson’s turn. He hadn’t even told a joke and he already had the judges giggling because he is so awkward. He told his jokes and the judges laughed. John Wing was the last up, he is much older so he uses his knowledge and shares his stories. Which are relatable and funny.

The dancing category is next and the first onstage is Archbishop Molloy. They are a stomp dance group. They’re coordination is to the tee but they did the same routine they did the first time around. Next was Hype. They tell a story with their act and are amusing as well. Then it was Art Spark. The first time they auditioned the judges had mixed reviews. This second chance was crucial. They did bring something new and innovative, new music, new moves, they did great. Then we have a solo act, Kid the wiz. His whole act is about hat tricks. His hat fell once and it slipped when he tried again but he made it up. Lastly, was Dylan Wilson, and he is a charismatic dancer, with great music and moves. Are any of these dancers moves good enough for New York, is the question.

The next group is the acrobatics. Tavi and Antonio were the first up. They climbed on sheets and just twisted around. They did not do something different which may hurt them at the end. Next was Accro. He climbs a pole and does tricks on it which is a little dangerous and great. Duo Resonance blew the judges away which their balance and strength. They tried a new spinning routine which really showcased their talent. Timber brown wowed the judges, his act was beautiful. He had a cow boy theme to it, and this time he had two poles. He just jumped from one to the next so gracefully and effortless. Last were the Kristef brothers. They both come from circus families, but they put a twist with fun, modern and silliness. They bring comedy and strength which is good because it makes them stand out.

The last group of the night was the Female singers. Deanna Dellacioppa was the first singer to perform. Something went wrong, the music was too low, which was hard for her to hear. She stopped the sound and asked for them to replay it. This was a little odd, I think it made her look like a diva. They made her wait while they fixed the problem. In the meantime Skilyr Hicks was next to sing. She did a good job, it seemed like the nerves got to her. Selena Gordon was next and she had a great voice and demonstrated good stage presence. Following Selena’s powerful audition was Cami Bradley. She also had a great audition, this time she used a piano which shows her many talents. Deanna is invited back onstage. She sings her heart out. She has such a powerful voice but her small technical difficulty could be a factor in the judge’s decision.
The judges have to make a decision on these acts, and they make their decisions on tonight’s episode.

America’s Got Talent airs on NBC tonight at 9 pm.
