Jessica Simpson’s sister, Ashlee Simpson, is rumored to be dating Diana Ross’ son Evan Ross. The duo was spotted holding hands as they entered Teddy's at the Roosevelt Hotel on Monday night after partying at the Sunset Marquis Hotel before that.
The next day, they were again seen getting lunch together after leaving a mutual friend’s home that morning. A source says of Ross, 25, and Simpson, 28, that they’re just old friends.
"Evan and Ashlee have been friends for a really long time, probably ten years," an insider told Us Weekly. "They know each other from the club scene and have tons of mutual friends."
Simpson broke up with Boardwalk Empire star Vincent Piazza in November of last year after dating for a year and a half.
The New York Daily News reports Simpson has 4 year old, Bronx, with ex-husband Pete Wentz. They split in 2011 after three years of marriage.
Simpson also just became an aunt for the second time, her older sister Jessica just gave birth to a baby boy named Ace Knute.
