The tenth episode of Big Brother included drama, the third live eviction of the summer , and the crowing of the new Head of Household (HOH).
The episode began with Kaitlin using the Power of Veto on herself and Jeremy, Spencer, and Aaryn being the three nominations for eviction. Helen was excited about Jeremy being Kaitlin’s replacement nominee and the three nominees were determined to fight to remain in the house. Aaryn said that everyone in the house discriminates against Jeremy because of the fact that he is a strong player (Whatever!). Jeremy decided to dress in GinaMarie’s baby costume and campaign to stay in the house. Later on, he approached Elissa and Helen and tries to make a deal with them. Aaryn decided to do damage control by kissing butt and faking being nice to everyone in the house (Again, whatever!).
Everyone in the house talked about how GinaMarie is harboring Nick’s belongings that he left in the house. Andy, Aaryn, McCrae, Amanda, and Judd decided to take Nick’s cup. When GinaMarie realized that Nick’s cup was missing, she confronted them and began to have another meltdown. They decided to return the cup to GinaMarie and console her while Aaryn sat on the sidelines complaining.
Amanda and McCrae’s parents sounded off about how they feel about their showmance. McCrae’s parents said that they were both surprised, but happy that McCrae is with someone like Amanda. Amanda’s parents said that they hope that she won’t overpower McCrae with her strong personality. They all agree that Amanda wears the pants in the relationship.
Before the live vote, the three nominees each made a brief statement trying to sway everyone’s votes. As current HOH, Helen could only vote in the event of a tie. Despite her altercation with Aaryn, Candice voted to evict Jeremy instead along with eight of the other house guests. After the live vote, the results were the following: Jeremy with nine votes, Aaryn with zero votes, and Spencer with one vote. With nine votes against him, Jeremy was evicted from the Big Brother house. Jeremy felt that his cocky attitude was part of the reason for his eviction. He also felt that he was a different man because of Kaitlin. He also says that Kaitlin “better bring daddy home the check.”
After Jeremy’s eviction, the HOH competition occurred. The HOH Competition was called “Big Brother Royalty” and the house guests had to figure out which house guest had a specific royal title based on how America felt. After the tiebreaker, Judd was crowned the new HOH. After the HOH Competition, Julie Chen told them to expect the unexpected leaving the house guests wondering what will happen next.
