This episode of was packed with surprises, the second live eviction of the Summer, and Aaryn’s last night of power as the Head of Household (HOH). On Day 18, Nick was chosen as Jeremy’s replacement nominee for eviction, but Nick was confident that he will stay in the house for another week. After the announcement of the three nominees, and with eviction under way, each of the nominees try to convince the house guests to not evict them, because as ’s says, “This season, no one is safe.”

Candice believes that the house has enough votes to get Nick out of the house. With her chances of staying in the house in jeopardy, Elissa tries to convince Jessie to be on her side who had her heart sent on voting out Elissa. Jessie decides to reconsider that decision. The Moving Company believe that Amanda and McCrae’s relationship is a hiccup in their progression. They confront McCrae and tell him not to mess things up with her. Later, McCrae is stuck between a rock and a hard place with The Moving Company wanting him to evict Elissa, and Amanda wanting him to evict Nick. This causes to have to pick a side and either lose his alliance or lose Amanda.

Insensitive remarks from some of the house guests have affected those contestants inside and outside of the house. Amanda, confronts Aaryn about her racist and homophobic remarks, she tells her that she needs to be mindful of the things that she says. However, Aaryn is completely unremorseful for her remarks, and then tries to justify her actions (SMH).

The live voting began with Elissa, Nick, and Helen convincing the rest of the house guests to sway their votes. With Jeremy and Kaitlin’s showmance, it was no surprise that they both voted to evict Elissa. Spencer and McCrae did remain true to their alliance when they voted to evict Nick. At the end of the voting ceremony, the results were four votes for Elissa, seven votes for Nick, and zero votes for Helen. With the most votes, Nick was evicted from the house, and GinaMarie was in tears. Nick was right when he believed that Spencer and McCrae turned on him, and he felt that Spencer was controlling the house. Julie jokes that if Nick would have kissed Jessie, then she would not have voted for him to be evicted.

For the HOH Competition entitled “Overnight Delivery,” Julie asked them questions pertaining to the deliveries and the house guests must answer true or false. Of course as outgoing HOH, Aaryn could not participate in the competition. With some of the house guests still remaining, there were two tiebreakers, and Helen was crowned the new HOH for the week.
