It's a girl for actress Busy Philipps, who welcomed her second child with her screenwriter husband Marc Silverstein on Tuesday.
As her reps told People exclusively, the couple's second daughter weighed in at 8.s pounds, and mommy and baby are "healthy and happy."
While no official statements have been made about a name for the "Cougar Town" actress' new bundle of joy, Philipps did publish an adorable black-and-white photo of her and her daughter on her Twitter account. The photo shows Philipps looking lovingly at her little girl accompanied by the funny caption "so this happened..."
Philipps announced her pregnancy back in December and told The Huffington Post exclusively that she was having another girl in April. She shared with the online news source that her oldest daughter, Birdie, was looking forward to being a big sister.
"My daughter is super excited," she said. "She's actually incredibly helpful and she's four and a half, so she's really understanding things, when I say like, 'Mom can't carry you right now because the baby in her tummy is pressing down on her bladder!' She understands what that means and she's cool with it."
Although her first pregnancy was admittedly easy, Philipps shared her second pregnancy was a much different story.
"It's all different [with this pregnancy] and I guess I wasn't fully prepared for that," Philipps said . I lost my voice because I have acid reflux, I mean it's disgusting! Your body is just hijacked, it's gross."
Looks like it was all worth it! Congrats, Busy!
