Following months of speculation CBS has confirmed the addition of a new female character to Two and a Half Men.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the character is a 21-year-old “sexy and gorgeous” lesbian. Jenny, as she will be aptly named, is said to be just like her father, the late Charlie Harper who was killed off in 2011 following actor Charlie Sheen’s infamous Tiger’s Blood meltdown.
Speculation that the series would add Charlie’s illegitimate daughter first surfaced back in May. Jenny is expected to make her first appearance on the season 11 premiere where she will search for her father, only to learn that he is dead.
Although she is not officially noted as a season regular, the young woman is expected to move in with Alan (Jon Cryer) and Walden Schmidt (Ashton Kutcher) in the hopes of filling the void left by Angus T. Jones, who played the young Jake Harper.
Jones infamously flew off the handle bashing and pleading for others to not watch the series. Jones will not return to Two and a Half Men as a regular, but will be seen sporadically. Jones’ character is off in the military making for a smooth transition.
