Dancing with the Stars’ Cheryl Burke believes former Food Network star Paula Deen would be a great addition to the cast for next season.

After battling a very public career-threatening controversy, Burke thinks if Deen joined the ABC show it would help audiences see a different side of her.

The professional dancer told ET Canada, “I think you’d probably see a different side of her and I think she would be a great addition to the cast. I think coming on something light and fun would be something good for her.”

Since it was revealed that she admitted to using the “n-word” during a deposition, Deen lost deals with companies like JC Penny, Wal-Mart, Smithfield Foods and more.

She recently parted ways with her longtime manager, Barry Weiss. Her spokesperson said of the end of their business relationship, “She and her family thank him for the tireless effort and dedication over the many years."

Deen’s former employee, Lisa Jackson, is the one who launched the lawsuit against her, explaining "This lawsuit has never been about the N-word. It is to address Ms. Deen's patterns of disrespect and degredation of people that she deems to be inferior."
