The L.A. County District Attorney has reportedly moved to revoke Chris Brown’s probation for the alleged hit-and-run he was involved in. He is in probation for his 2009 beating of then-girlfriend Rihanna.

Brown was charged with a hit-and-run back in May, when he gave the driver his Virginia driver’s license and the wrong insurance information. He left the scene without providing the proper information, which requires a California license, and the investigation began.

The documents that TMZ obtained from the D.A.’s office say Brown "willfully and unlawfully" broke the law when he failed to hand over the proper identification.

Although the other driver, the L.A. City Attorney and the lawyer for the victim don’t want Brown to go to jail for this, the D.A. is standing firm that since he is on probation he must obey all rules.

The judge will ask the D.A. to revoke his probation and put him into custody, and he can face up to four years in jail. The hearing will take place today, to stay tuned to TheCelebrityCafe.com for updates.
