The San Diego Comic-Con starts today, meaning that the city will be invaded by fans of everything from pop culture, including movies and television to comic books. There will be a lot of news made over the next four days, so here’s a quick list of things to look forward to.

A trailer for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will be screened during the film’s panel on Saturday. Stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Laim Hemsworth are expected to be there as Lionsgate promotes the film, which won’t be out until Nov. 22.

According to Deadline, Legendary Pictures will by hyping its Godzilla reboot, which will be out in 2014. The studio unveiled the Godzilla Experience, which is like a theme park attraction temporarily installed in downtown San Diego.

Warner Bros. said earlier this week that footage from Tom Cruise’s Edge of Tomorrow will be shown during its panel. That film was originally titled All You Need Is Kill and is out in June 2014. It will be interesting to see if WB also has news on DC Comics movies, since the only thing we’re sure about is that Man of Steel will get a sequel.

Marvel is also promoting Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Thor: The Dark World. The new Thor is out in November, while The Winter Soldier has an April 2014 release.

EW also notes that Marvel and ABC are holding a Friday panel for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., the new show that premieres in the fall.

Fox is rumored to be announcing new plans for its X-Men franchise.

TV shows will also be represented. 20th Century Fox TV is taking the How I Met Your Mother cast to San Diego to chat about the show’s final season. The Game of Thrones panel is set for Friday, so hopefully fans can get some new info while we wait for season four.
