Covert Affairs returned last night with the premiere of Season 4 in an explosive episode. The last place we left off with CIA agent Annie Walker, she and fellow agent Auggie Anderson were saving Eyal who was being held hostage by Khaleed. Instead of killing him, Annie planted the seeds of anger and revenge and sent Khaleed back in hopes he would kill his own father, effectively elimination an enemy for the CIA. The season 3 finale ends with Annie finally getting the guy; she and Auggie shared a sweet kiss but not before she is presented with a classified file from Henry Wilcox and a proposition.

The opening scene of the season 4 premiere, "Vamos", starts off with a conversation between Annie and Auggie, he's extremely worried and asks her to please come home, he loves her; but she's already gone, armed and loaded chasing after someone we don't know. The screen flashes and we're taken 10 weeks earlier. The contents of the mysterious file Henry Wilcox handed over to Annie are finally revealed along with some other warnings: there's evidence CIA Director Arthur Campbell might be funneling money to a rival agency in Columbia with an account opened by Auggie two years ago. Next thing we know, Auggie and Annie field trip to Columbia to trace the money and find out if there's any truth to the information in the file, if it is true and the operation's uncovered it could look very bad for Auggie.

The episode takes us on quite a trip as Annie meets "The Puma" or as he prefers, Teo, the owner of the secret account Arthur is allegedly wiring money to. The episode is littered with flying bullets, mysterious moments and people that aren't completely explained. Auggie is shot by a man withdrawing money from the account in question leading to him and Walker getting taken to Teo. Teo cryptically warns Annie Walker, "Tell Arthur the blood is on his hands not mine. I burned the account. I'm done." Meanwhile in the United States, Arthur's wife Joan finds out she's pregnant while Arthur meets with a woman to end some sort of transaction or relationship, and she did not seem to happy about it.

Realizing she's gotten all the confirmation she can, Walker along with Auggie Anderson decide to head home. It seemed to be the end of it but on the plane Auggie reveals that Teo is actually Arthur's son. We don't know why he's being kept a secret or being wired money. Back at Headquarters, Arthur resigns citing he's had an affair and it would be in the Agency's best interests for him to step down. Henry Wilcox warned Annie Walker of this moment, it's only the beginning of the mess that will be created when Arthur's secrets are revealed in coming time.
