The new season of Criminal Minds isn't for a couple of months but it has been revealed that the CBS drama has cast Ghost Whisperer actress Camryn Manheim for the show's two-part Season 9 premiere.

According to TV Line, Manheim will play the mother of an UnSub who is very protective and watchful of her son. Her character also knows about her son's serious emotional problems that include killing women who look like his ex-girlfriend. And to add to that, she is apparently harboring her own dark family secrets.

Manheim has previously starred on not only CBS' Ghost Whisperer but ABC's The Practice and NBC's Harry's Law as well.

Criminal Minds fans will also be happy to hear, if they haven't already, that the entire cast will be returning to the BAU this fall, according to The Huffington Post. This good news came after contract negotiations caused fears that certain cast members like Kirsten Vangsness and A.J. Cook would be leaving the show.

The two-part Season 9 premiere of Criminal Minds airs Wednesday, September 25 at 9 PM on CBS.
