Dina Lohan is sharing her thoughts on daughter Lindsay’s decision to participate in a reality series for Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network upon exiting rehab.
"Oh, it's fantastic. If anyone is going to help mentor you, it's going to be Oprah," Dina told E! News .
News of Lindsay’s deal to document her first days post-rehab in an eight-part series intrigued fans of the troubled starlet, who is currently completing a 90-day rehab program to fulfill parameters of a plea deal, according to a previous report .
When asked if Dina would be appearing in the series, the Lohan matriarch teased fans saying, “Possibly! It's about family…and I'm family," before clarifying that while she might make an appearance, it won’t be because Lindsay will be under her roof.
"Lindsay is 27, my kids all have their own places," Dina said. "She's not going to move back home. She'll be getting an apartment in New York. She'll be in New York. It's great because [sister Ali] is in New York with Wilhelmina models. [Son] Michael is in New York. My other little guy [son Dakota] is 17 and he's still at home and going to St. Anthony's. The rest may come home to mom, but they don't want to live with me."
In addition to likely being able to live on her own, Dina said that daughter Lindsay is “happy, healthy and amazing,” UPI reports.
“She’s doing really well,” she said.
The series is set to air on the OWN network in 2014.
