John Barrowman and Scott Gill finally wed Tuesday after 20 years of dating!
Us Weekly reports that the Doctor Who actor his longtime Scottish architect beau celebrated the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the Defense of Marriage Act by finally tying the knot.
“We are getting Married today because we now can. Jb and Scott,” he tweeted. The handsome actor also posted a video on his WhoSay of he and his excited fiancé heading to the courthouse to make things official.
“It's five after one and we've got our coffee and we're in the car getting ready to leave, because where are we going, Scott?" the handsome actor says to the camera to which his fiancé replies, "To get married. Yay!"
"We're getting married in the state of California," Barrowman states. "Thank you, Supreme Court, about time you made it legal. See you after we have the ceremony!
Us Weekly notes that Gill and Barrowman met in 1991 after Gill attended his play at the Chichester Festival Theatre.
