Actress Elisha Cuthbert is now a married woman after tying the knot to longtime boyfriend Dion Phaneu on Saturday.
The Happy Endings star, 32, married the Toronto Maple Leafs captain on Prince Edward Island at the St. James Catholic Church in Summerfield.
According to Journal Pioneer, the couple has been frequent visitors on Prince Edward Island the past several years and have even been spending every summer there since they started dating. Phaneu’s family has ties the island as well.
Cuthbert and Phaneu have been dating for the past five years, People reports. They celebrated their wedding with fireworks while over 300 family members and friends gathered on the eastern Canadian island.
Rosie DiManno, a Toronto Star reporter, live tweeted the wedding day, writing, “Bridesmaids in pale pink fishtail gowns...and there's the bride, delivered in black Camaro convertible, top up...”
They got engaged last September and told a group of 35 loved ones at a restaurant on the same island.
