After much speculation, Eva Longoria has confirmed that she is dating philanthropist Ernesto Argüello. The two met while working on NBC's Ready for Love, where Eva served as a producer and Ernesto one of the bachelors.
Argüello is from Miami and was described on the show as a well-educated, entrepeneur. While Argüello had his choice of many women on the dating show, reports leaked early on that Longoria was after one of the three contestants. Although viewers never got to witness a finale, Ernesto ended up choosing former Miss USA, Shandi Finnessey. Things didn't work out and shortly after rumors began swirling that he and the former Desperate Housewives actress were an item.
In the show's promo, the 34-year-old expressed his hopes of have a relationship like his parents, who have been married for nearly 40 years, reports E! News.
If they were trying to hide the romance before, they certainly aren't now. Longoria tells People Magazine, that the reason they work is because they "truly started as friends," explaining that it's why their "relationship is so special."
The 38-year-old tweeted on Thursday “Happy to share NOW that it’s true! Couldn’t be happier". Her man was not shy about their love either, responding with "“Me too baby, I LOVE YOU.”
Eva has been married twice, first to General Hospital's Tyler Christopher in 2002 then NBA star Tony Parker from 2007-2011.
Ready for Love was cancelled after only a few episodes due to low ratings. Hopefully this new romance will last longer.
